DOLPHIN SONG OF LOVE
2nd Version
Notes communicated to Kathy Parra by the Dolphins
Music composed by Candace Keach for Spiral of Sound Crystal Bowl Choir
Candace Keach tells us:
“While working on the Dolphin Song for the choir, I realized that the two sets of 4 pitches between the B and F are some kind of DNA coding layered with the
specific chakra activations. The B and F create the very interesting tri-tone which is an interval that often creates a deep connection with spirit. This interval is
repeated at the beginning and the end of each DNA coding sequence.
The musicians are arranged in a wave shape with 11 bowls. Some of the pitches I’ve doubled to the higher octave, the same pitch at a higher frequency,
to access the chakras more deeply. I’ve kept all the pitches in the exact same order in the melody as in the harmony. The first thing you hear is a technique
called sanding the bowls which creates a sound that reminds me of the wind blowing through the tall sea grass. Overlaying a tapping of the bowls created
a sonic image for me of boats moored in a marina, gently rocking in the waves with their metallic riggings tapping against the masts. The harp enters soon
after the tapping, creating sounds like bubbles rising from the ocean floor as if the dolphins have mysteriously arrived, whipping up the ocean’s depths with
their agile play. The dolphins’ message is first played in the bowls’ melody with harp. As the harp moves into waves of ocean-like arpeggios and glisses, the
bowls deepen the melody with harmony in the second verse. One can almost see the dolphins’ joyous leaps among the waves. The bowls play full harmony
with the harp in the third verse as the dolphin’s melody is transferred to the voice of the flute. The piece closes with sanding, the sound of the sea grass again
accompanied by harmonics on the harp reminiscent of a trail of bubbles left in the wake of the dolphins’ graceful exit.”

Kathy Parra tells us:
“It came to me during the the night. After dreaming of what appeared to be the earth and many consecutive dreams of the ocean and its creatures ––
whales, seahorses, even the coral at the bottom of the ocean –– all crystal clear and pristine. I continued to hear the same letters. Then I started to hear
sounds like singing bowls/harps and the letters kept repeating.
Going back to sleep, I had the same dream of the earth and it's creatures, not just ocean animals, but all animals. I heard the melody playing over and
over in my head, like a lullaby of peace/love, very gentle, very loving. I awoke with enormous love. I heard the letters again and again and again and
the music/sound/tone, and thought it must be a sequence of some sort. Dolphin told me the letters are musical notes that align with the chakras that
would bring restoration/healing to the planet and its species. One letter/note at a time I wrote the notes as I was given them. Dolphin said to repeat them
3 times, and gave me the corresponding word to each note. Each note corresponds to a chakra with a tone. I know nothing about music other then I love
to dance to it! Dolphin communicated to me that this Dolphin Song of Love will heal the planet."
SPIRAL OF SOUND CRYSTAL BOWL CHOIR (SOS) is a unique performance art ensemble based in Atlanta specializing in meditation music created
for crystal bowls. The group has been awarded placement on the Georgia Council of the Arts Touring Artist Roster and also The Southern Artistry
Registry. Candace Keach is the founder, director, and flutist. Crystal bowl players include Lavonne Hoglund, Diane Day, Jody Cook, Kathy Lytle,
Daniel Bastacky, Patricia Kilpatrick, Katherine RobinSun, and Lucy Banks with Susan Brady, Harpist and Don Weston, Videographer.

From Diane Buccheri, Publisher of DOLPHIN Magazine:
In our universe, energy, light, and sound makes everything. The energy, light, and sound rotate in rhythmic patterns creating spheres that
ascend and descend, fold and unfold, spiral and unspiral, making hourglasses, opening from themselves and returning into themselves. That
energy in rhythmic patterns with light is dance, and the rhythmic pattern in motion creates music. The patterns of energy resonate –– go and
come back, ascend and descend –– in frequencies of wavelengths that are longer or shorter, slower or faster. These, with light, create color.
Red has the longest wavelength of energy –– slow. The wavelength shortens and the energy becomes greater as the energy ascends. And the
color changes from deep red to orange, to yellow, letting in more light and energy, all the way to white light, which is so many refractions of light
off so many frequencies of energy that we cannot see them all, distinguish them. Hence, we see brightness. We are flooded with light. Within that
light are rays and rays and rays of the spectrum.
Every main level of energy has a tone, a musical sound that is C, D, E, F, G, A, B, making an octave because this sequence of seven tones/notes
begins again with C. A circle is made, a sphere or spiral of energy, a beginning and an end with another beginning. A past, present, and future!
And each note on the octave has a color made by its frequency of vibration and light –– red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, purple, and
white is the culmination, the new beginning, C. Each color vibrates at a higher frequency than the previous, ascending the scale, creating higher
pitched sounds. Together in harmonic synchronicity, they create music.
The dolphins’ sonar picks up this energy, the vibrations of sound. Long ago when swimming together, dolphins opened a portal in Kathy ––
physically with their sonar (DOLPHIN Magazine, Issue 1)–– a portal filled with light through her spinal column, into her brain. This carries
vibrations/energy to the liquids in her spinal column and brain. She senses the vibrations of energy, and thus, hears the dolphins’ music ––
vibrating tones.
We all have liquids in our cells and in our spinal column and brain that sense vibration, whether we are consciously aware or not. The
electromagnetic field of energy that circulates around each of us and around every object in the universe is affected by the vibrations of
energy all around us. Each body, including the earth, has chakras –– centers where energy focuses. The dolphins’ song –– carried by their
powerful sonar –– vibrates and resonates through our electromagnetic fields of energy and the liquids in our bodies, and become focused
in our chakra, penetrating into our cells and between our cell membranes, balancing our chemical energy. Their song soothes and heals us.
